01 Open Access Policy
The African Journal of Finance, Taxation, and Fiscal Policy (AJFTFP) is a fully Open Access journal. This means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution.
Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of Open Access.

03 Licensing Terms
TAJFTFP articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
What this means: Others can share and adapt the work, even commercially, as long as they give appropriate credit to the original author and the journal.

02 Copyright Policy
Author Retains Copyright: Authors who publish with AJFTFP retain the copyright to their work.
First Publication Rights: Authors grant the journal a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher

04 peer review Policy
To ensure the highest academic integrity, AJFTFP employs a Strict Double-Blind Peer Review process:
Initial Screening: The Editorial Office checks for scope relevance and plagiarism (Max 15% similarity).
Blind Review: The manuscript is sent to at least two external experts. Neither the author nor the reviewers know each other's identities.
Decision: Based on reviewer reports, the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision (Accept, Revisions Required, or Reject).

05 archiving Policy
PKP Preservation Network (PN): We utilize the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries.
Institutional Repository: All issues are permanently archived in the Federal University Dutse Digital Library.
Self-Archiving: Authors are encouraged to deposit the "Published Version" of their article in institutional or departmental repositories.
